I remember back in 2k7, I was passionate about very different things than I am now. Electro blogs with neon layouts. ‘Bangers.’ Electro duos. I used to be a bloghousebro. Now it seems like ‘the world has turned and left me here’ since I got a tattoo of ‘the Justice logo.’ I’m not even sure if Justice are ’still together.’ They are probably playing the ‘theme park’ and ’state fair’ circuit with bands like Jessica Simpson/Bowling for Soup/Everclear/other bands that have ‘gone out to pasture’ 2 die.

These days, I only listen to Grizzly Bears and the Animal Collecting. It’s just kinda weird how much things have changed. Considering getting ‘Veckatimest’ tattooed on the shaft of my cock. I remember when I got my Jousteeece tatty, I told my parents that it was ‘biblical.’ Can’t believe I am ‘just another bro with a cross tattoo’ even though I don’t even really ‘get’ God.

Back then, I assumed electro would ‘be forever.’ I assumed that bloghouse would eventually become ‘mainstream’ and get played on the radio, side-by-side with top40 radio. Now I feel like if I brought ‘bloghouse’ up in a conversation with a circle of entrylevelers, they would say ‘what is that?’ I feel like I am possibly a music purist for being so connected to the bloghaus era.

I feel like a take a lot of shit for granted. Sparks, PBR, partying, listening 2 music, free mp3s from music blogs, Am Appy fitting me nicely, chillin on the internet for 70% of the week and a lot of other perks that I think are a ‘God given right.’ However, I recently saw a DJ bro who was spinning, despite not having any arms. His name is apparently Pascal Kleiman. He seems like a chill bro who just wants to spin some bangers/house, smoke cigs to look kewl while DJing, twist some knobs, filter some sounds, mix some levels, reach into his record bag, and just be a pretty bad ass bro in general. While he can’t do all of the things that fully-abled DJs can do, he has what it takes to bring the joy of love, music, and dance 2 people all around the world (kinda like a krappy MP3 blogger whose blog has a shittie layout and bad writing).

I think a lot of times we don’t view ‘being an authentic alt with a self-aware perspective’ as a gift, but I wish yall would realize that it is. We are fortunate to have our health, and our ‘abilitie 2 partie.’

Glad we’re finally out of the inauthentic ‘masked DJ’ gimmick phase. Sort of wonder if he spins bloghouse, or just guido Euro Techno house core.

Feel like u’ve proven that ur a meme worth blogging about if some1 makes an 8bit video game about you, possibly for their final exam grade at the community technical college that they are attending. In the game, u r a Daft Punk robot who has 2 steal back samples/records from Justice. Feel like if I were a blogger from the year 2k7 (the golden era of electro/bloghouse), my head would have ‘exploded’ from this meme. Think that this game is more fun/worth ur time than Electroma.

Here is my feedback/’constructive criticism’ for the game:

• Enable weapons, including electro lightning bolts
• Utilization of the Daft Punk sound pyramid as a ‘home base’
• Show France experiencing some sort of Earth quake
• Have manager of both bands “Busy P” get ‘held hostage’ or use him as a gimmick in the story line
• Make both forces come together to fight against Australia in the electro war
• Have the band ‘assassinate’ another non-electro band, or something
• involve Obama/ Osama Bin Laden
• Have a level where u have 2 ‘take down electrosnark bloggers’/have 2 navigate through

I wish people could see that ElectroWar soldiers are often unfortunate upper middle class males who will not be able to fulfill their parents expectations. After brief stints at art colleges, most electroWar soldiers are just searching for meaning by staring at death in the eye. They are victims of class, yall. Kinda like how poor minorities have 2 go 2 Iraq/Afghanny since they dropped out of HS but still want to learn technical computer skills and be in bad ass commercials with jets and cool stuff like weapons.

Life in the electroPrisonCamp was difficult. We were given one meal a day, which consisted of a SXSWSTRN eggroll and an 8 oz mini can of Bud Light. We were tortured every day. They forced us to give up secrets, particularly about the technology we used to make bangers, and what popular beat matching software existed in our part of the world. They also demanded to know how we ‘learned how to make filters that sounded eggzackly like Daft Punk’s.’

We quickly learned that the Australian ElectroJihaadists were planning a terrorist attack on a weekly party in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There was no way of letting them know that the worst was yet to come [via hiptop/sent from my iPhone/sent from my AT&T wireless device]. They confiscated our mobile devices and laptops, which were sent to labs to extract data from.

I’ll never forget the my best friends in Prison. There was a set of masked DJs and an electroDiva who was prone to nipslips. We did our best to make it from day to day, being held in underwater cages. We were even forced to play Russian roulette against one another. One time one of them died. Was kinda sad, but was kinda happy that it wasn’t me.

N e ways, years after the War ended, we were released from the Prison Camp. The people who ran the prison camp were actually not affiliated with the Australian ElectroForces, and just kept their prison camp alive to maintain some form of ‘control’ over their lives’ and others. Kinda sad, but what any trivial ElectroProducer would probably do.

Now we are left 2 find out who we are in a p0st-electroWar world. I am a veteran now. I question the whole direction of my life, and wonder how the horrors of war have changed my outlook on life. I will make a movie about adjusting to post-ElectroWar Life starring Tom Cruise as me.
