M0RE "BRAKE B00T"!

Yall might remember this cmmnt from the previous Breakbot remix that I posted.

Did yall see Breakbot's new myspace headline?

Just wanted to let yall know that ur fave artists read HRO. Hopefully yall feel close the music, and like u r able 2 connect with ur fave artists. HRO is a relevant space where artists come to find out 'what the common man' is saying, and more importantly, a place where every1 comes to 'get in touch with authentic reality.'

Never stop commenting, because in some ways, it is the only voice u have. Kinda like 'voting' but more interactive+satisfying+reactionary. Ur comments are the collective voice of 'the common man.' The common man has been kinda bitter lately because of the Great Depression Stock Market Crash.

I think Breakbot is my favourite artist of 2k8.5-2k9. Who is yalls?
Luv this Digitalism rmx.

H8 U MOM JEANS. don't 'get' ur beliefs-system.

Who has a more authentic Homeless Man Beard?

Does Girl Talk's implementation of the homeless man beard make him more authentic? Or is his beard a little bit too 'freshman in college' proving that he is 'liberated' from his parents?

Definitely prefer BREAKBOT's (who I nvr realized looks like a more authentic Greg Gillis).

It's a shame we can't all grow Sufjan Stevens Douchebag Carpet Munching "Sit on my face" Goatees.

Heard that Sebastien Tellier smells like a Frenchman. Is that true, yall?

Might just grow an El Guincho homeless man mop+beard

No1 will ever be able to top Teddy K's Homeless Man Beard.

Luv the Breakbot Remixes

Whenever I hear a Breakbot song/remix, I imagine that guy playing it on the piano/on the ableton.

These Remixes Are Brought 2 u by Bacardi

I think we're all used to experiencing music/events/shows that are sponsored by a product. However, most of these experiences are not authentic enough for us or they are just poorly executed.

I enjoy this Metronomy Remix by Breakbot which is a song produced [via] a remix project sponsored by Bacardi. Should we commend the Bacardi talent scouts for picking some solid Blogville artists? Is it better than the approach Converse took to pay a lot of money to Pharrell, Julian Casablancas and Santogold to write a song that supposedly appeals to alternative circles? Is the goal of reaching alt-markets to get any kind of 'publicity' or 'authentic publicity'?

I am a fan of remixes being commissioned by companies who are looking to reach alternative audiences if they pay good remixers to remix songs that I would be interested in. Sometimes I feel like it's the same circle of 'creative artists' ripping off the same large company for 1.5 years. I am also comfortable DLing this product from Bacardi because I don't have to sign up for some service/mailing list, either.

This song is so good that it could be an authentic theme song for a vintage and/or modern sitcom which provided an entire generation with relevant opportunities for self-reflection. It will remind u of how 'back then used 2 be the best of times & the worst of times.'

More Pnau (Not Featuring Ladyhawke)

Pnau's song "Come Together" is a perfectly crafted hit. The first half is compelling enough to get drawn into, then the second half is probably one of the best modern uses of a children's chorus since "D.A.N.C.E."

Sometimes it's fun to listen to the teenz making bloggable hits in Ableton/Logic/etc., but Pnau's production value is pretty NUTZO.

I can't find this mp3, but Breakbot's Remix of PNAU's "Baby" is 'as good as it gets,' like that one Greg Kinnear film.

Breakbot (From France)

Breakbot makes songs that are as enjoyable as his GIFs. Breakbot's songs are kind of like 'the lite beer' of bangers. A lot of elements of the traditional banger are prevalent, but he opts to use different effects/synths, leaving his songs a reasonable distance away from Bangerville.
