DISCO TEXAS continues to make progress into reality.

Moulinex's Cut Copy remix was distributed a week or two ago in a secret email between some of the world's top bloggers. It's easy to blog about both Cut Copy and Moulinex, making Cut Copy - Lights and Music (Moulinex Remix).mp3 a [HIGHLY BLOGGABLE // A PROBABLE HYPE MACHINE POPULAR TRACK].

I think it's pretty interesting to take note of an artist's stock by the strength and notoriety of the remixes that they do. For example, CFCF pulled off the REMIX TRIPLE CROWN of 2007 by remixing Crystal Castles, The Teenagers, and Health. Additionally, the Teenagers might have worked their way into the REMIXER hall of fame with the strength of most of their efforts. There are probably some other obvious ones.

I think Moulinex does a pretty good job of taking songs to a different level. I also posted Moulinex's remix of WSGM's "You Should Be Someone Else," which may have been lost in a PalmsOut Sunday black hole. While of course the Cut Copy rmx is good, I think that the WSGM remix is a better example of Moulinex imposing his sound on the song.
