Sometimes I’m out in public, and I see a group, and I think either
a) I wish I could be bros with that pack of bros
OR
b) Glad I’m not associated with that pack of leftover bros who banded together to come bros

I was looking at groups of bros who I might want 2 search for on FaceTwitspace, and I wondered which group would take my personal brand to the next level [via association].

Would yall rather be bros with Chris Martin Viva La Vida Altbro & his army of Mainstreamers experimenting with alternative parties? [via an AZN 'flipping the bird']

Or The Freshly Purchased Am Appy Products Crew?

It’s really important to have a crew that looks ‘legit.’ When u walk into an alternative event, you have to look like you ‘belong.’ U don’t want to look like an 18 year old entry leveler who ‘wants 2 find out what Sparks tastes like.’

Make people believe that high level alternative events are your home-away-from-home. Pretend that u were ‘on the guest list.’ Don’t look like you find an event to be meaningful or stimulating, or else u will look like some1 who is ‘new 2 the scene.’

Your personal brand is contingent upon the people you surround yourself with.
Enigmatic brands are usually better than ‘bright, neon’ brands.
Doesn’t matter if u hang out with hollow people in order to establish your brand before moving on to people with ‘more depth.’

Don’t be afraid 2 be selective with ur crew.

Today is the busiest shopping day of the year. The day after THNXGVNG, people r s00 hungry that they have 2 g0 shopping so that they can eat at mall food courts. Some people like to call it BlackFriday.info, and others call it BlackFriday.biz. Whenever I go shopping on BlackFriday.com, I feel like I have been auto-forwarded to BlackFriday.info/PoorPeopleLookingForDeals. I think they’d tell you that they are just BlackFriday.com/ThriftyBargainSeekers.

When ur doing Xmas shopping, ur usually not buying presents 4 people u love. It is usually a challenge to find some thing appropriate for some1 in your extended family who you don’t TRULY know and don’t authentically “love.” U want 2 add value 2 their life in a present, but u don’t want 2 spend more than $__. I sort of wish Amazon would build a site called amazon-super-store.net/Presents_For_People_ I_Dont_Truly_Love_But_Have_2_Buy_A_Gift_4_them.html. At this site I could browse through crappy gifts which existed 2 give 2 extended family who u didn’t spend much money on and represent ‘not knowing them well.’

Today, I just want to SaveSomeMoney.us, but I would settle for SavingSomeEuros.blogspot.co.uk. I’m afraid of the FinancialCrisis.gov/BarryObamaWillNotSaveTheEconomy. Even though there is some change.gov, I feel like it is actually change.gov/pipedreams, and possibly change.gov/pyramid_scheme. S0 scared. Might even rename my myspace URL www.myspace.com/SomeScaredAltBro.

Should I go online shopping, or will there be 2 much traffic/2 many people?
Whenever I see a MexiAlt, it makes me wish I lived a simple life. A life where I only watched MTV, listened to power pop/weirdo mainstream FallOutBoy type of stuff with electrobeats, and I was on myspace on my sidekick 68% of the day. I could settle down with a keut Mexicalt girl with a progressive pokemon haircut who had just discovered American Appy and had over 50 myspace photo albums. Things would be easier. We would be content with our high school educations, and move on to bigger and better things like Supercuts University.

Do u ever feel like ‘I wish I wasn’t s00 self-aware–would totes be ttlly happie if I didn’t ‘get’ life.’
Would u trade ur self-awareness for an AZN/entry level hornie alt/MeximAlt ?
S0 many decisions–ultimately I just want 2 be authentic.
Stay focused on ur long term goal of authentic personal brand sustainability.

XX BONUS ALTINO BROS XX

I wonder if Altino Bros are more in touch with electro and/or culture than WHITE altbros.
Is there such thing as electroTejano?
PART OF THE ALTINO NEVER DIES.

I just don’t understand why my BlogCentric view of electro music didn’t make a bigger splash on this list. Does most of the world listen to guido+eurotrashCore ‘techno’ music? Am I an unEducated electroFan? Does the music that I listen to ‘not matter’ in the context of ‘authentic electronic’ music?

I have made the bloghouse/mainstreamLectro bands that appeal to me GREEN.

Please feel free to let me know how you feel about this list. I just want yalls input.
Who are blogville’s most relevant DJs? Which DJs probably cost the most?
Are u tired of all of the guidoHouseTechno DJs getting all of the attention? (Are they more authentic than bloggy electro DJs who have capitalized on the entrylevel alt population growth spurt?)

But SRSLY, doesn’t it piss u off when ur local DJ seems like he’d rather be any where else than playing at your local ElectroParty?
You were able to sit on the fence between mainstream and alt, utilizing products that were a bit mainstream and a bit alt to express yourself.

(Unless u r an ass hole who thinks u were born alt.)

This picture was taken from an Entry Level Alt Convention–specifically a seminar about taking your personal brand of ‘the zany mainstreamer who acts like Ace Ventura’ and transitioning it into a respected alternative personal brand that channels your creativity, uniqueness and outgoing personality into a tangible social product.

XX BONUS NINJAS TRYING TO ROB AN ICECREAM TRUCK FULL OF ALT DRUGS XX

N e thing can happen in NYC!
