After the success of the popular chillwave sound projects Chill Murray (created by actor Bill Murray) [link] and Chill Pullman (created by Bill Pullman) [link], it seems like popular comedian Dave Chappelle has started a 'fuzzy buzzy' sound project. It is rumored to be called DAVVES.
His upcoming EP will cover themes like 'weed', 'black people', and 'the rebranding of Comedy Central.' Really just want to listen to some chill Beach vibes, and think about when he was 'the funniest man alive.' Really hope he is finally King of the ________.

Recently, the fuzzy buzzy buzzband Best Coast 'lashed out' at the popular weblog HIPSTER RUNOFF, telling the blog to 'eat a dick.' [link] Many assumed that the 'fight was over', but things seem to have 'severely escalated' now that Best Coast drummer Alexandria Koehler has accused the HRO readership and commenting community of 'acquiring carpal tunnel syndrome' from having too much 'time on their hands.'
Alexandria Koehler is the former drummer of the buzzband Vivian Girls. It seems like Best Coast has a larger commercial opportunity + possibly 'makes better music', so she defected from the former buzzband to the new hit summer buzzband. While the ALT REPORT credits her for making a wise career move, many purists of the beach fuzz genre think she should have 'pledged loyalty to her former band', similar to the situation with LeBron James in Cleveland.
Does n e 1 know if Best Coast is just 1 girl, or an entire band? Confused.

It seems difficult to decipher Best Coast's slander of HIPSTER RUNOFF's readers + commenters.
Carpal Tunnel seems to be some sort of 'syndrome' /'nerve disorder' that u acquire from performing a repetitive motion. Not sure if she meant that HRO readers were mouse clickers and/or 'losers who type comments out on the internet' 2 much. Or maybe she meant that they spent all day stroking their erect shafts, losers living at home with their parents, masturbating all day as they listened to buzzbands and watched hardcore pornography.

Best Coast is a fuzzy buzzy artist who is in the process of 'crossing over' / being marketed as an authentic female artist since she makes music that is better than 90% of many female indie artists.
Recently, MTVU debuted her video for "When I'm With You" and in their terrible blurb, they called her a chillwave artist:
Lo-fi? Glo-fi? Gorillavsbearcore? So many names were bandied about for this ever-popular distorted indie trend. But when the New York Times weighed in after this year’s SXSW, bloggers seemed to settle on the phrase “chillwave” to describe the genre. Whatever it’s called, I’ve always been a fan and I’m sticking to my guns on that one.
Speaking of SXSW, Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast emerged as one of the highlights. A singer who has embraced the chillwave sound, Cosentino intersperses the buzzy feedback with pop-orientated lyrics for a delightful combination of sarcasm and sun.
It seems like Bethany Cosentino got all confused by this genre name, then tweeted about it. Maybe she doesn't spend enough time reading music blogs since she is in a van that probably doesn't have a 4G wireless network.
In addition, she made a 'silly joke' about chillwave and Jimmy Buffet, the songwriter of the hit song "Margaritaville", a song about a foreign country where they have an unlimited frozen margarita machine.
