Yall. Sometimes I don't get 2 attend every alt event that I want 2 attend. Whether it is a local dance night, a meaningful indie concert, an international DJ icon spinning at a private party in Los Angeles, or even just a chilled out Coachella partie, I don't always get to go. That's why I look at party pix. To pretend that I am there. I want to feel like I am there, chilling.

Now I sort of wish party pix would die, and we could just have GIFs that are sort of an artistic representation of the night.

I feel closer 2 the partie happening in this GIF. I can feel the heat of the club. It makes me want to get up and dance. GIFs don't just capture a solitary moment, they tell a story. I just want to be part of that story. One day I will be in these pictures, establishing myself as a regular on a high level PartyGif site.

I just want to be where something relevant is happening.
I want people 2 see me and want 2 be me.
I just need visual reinforcement
I just want to be part of a cultural movement

I just think the scene would be better if there were more GIFs. Imagine seeing a 10 frame gif of a crowd dancing at a Girl Talk concert. Or seeing bros chill at a festival. Or even seeing Dan Deacon 'be krazie' or something. Photographs sort of 'leave me wanting more.' Hope there are more GIFs in the future. Worried. Hope some1 is willing 2 innovate.

Do any other notable alternative celebrities have twirling hat GIFs?
Why do we live in a world where every1 copies from 1 another and nothing is original. :-( How can we find truth if our favourite artists are just copying one another and copying gifs that people made in the 70s?

What is a PYT?

Wikipedia says:
P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" is a hit single from Michael Jackson's 1982 hit album Thriller.

The song was originally written by Jackson and Greg Phillinganes and was a mid-tempo R&B jam. Quincy Jones wanted it to be more upbeat so he re-wrote it and it was Jones' version that appeared on the Thriller album.

• Part of the lyrics to Justice's single "D.A.N.C.E." mentions "You were such a P.Y.T.". Justice have said that "D.A.N.C.E." is a direct tribute to Michael Jackson.

The Shoes remix of Primary1's "Hold Me Down" is worth blogging about. It might be in that category of 'I enjoy this remix moreso than the original version of the song" but the original is pretty decent.

Breakbot makes songs that are as enjoyable as his GIFs. Breakbot's songs are kind of like 'the lite beer' of bangers. A lot of elements of the traditional banger are prevalent, but he opts to use different effects/synths, leaving his songs a reasonable distance away from Bangerville.

PARALLELS makes music that's just about as strong as their GIF making abilities.
I think I read that Parallels = the touring drummer for Crystal Castles, so he must have cred.

The posted MP3 is pretty tight. It has some breakdowns that remind me of a Futurecop! song, and some pretty decent robot vocals. There's also some of those 'this song is uplifting' parts to the song, which I always value.
