Pnau’s song “Come Together” is a perfectly crafted hit. The first half is compelling enough to get drawn into, then the second half is probably one of the best modern uses of a children’s chorus since “D.A.N.C.E.”

Sometimes it’s fun to listen to the teenz making bloggable hits in Ableton/Logic/etc., but Pnau’s production value is pretty NUTZO.

I mean, if you had to have either an Andrew Bird album or MICHIGAN in your car for the rest of your life, wouldn’t it probably have to be an Andrew Bird album?

“Chicago” is a great song, but do I really want to look out the window and pretend that it makes my life more meaningful? Sufjan seems like a pretty “chill dude,” though. He supports America, and that’s fine by me. I don’t know any thing about Andrew Bird except that his music is pleasant and probably considered to be “well crafted” by critics.
