Ezra Koenig is the sexi hot hunky frontman from the hit buzzband Vampire Weekend. In addition, he sometimes 'goes solo' and 'collabs' with lots of different indie bands. However, now it seems like he is 'trying to take his career to 'mainstream levels' by bronoodling with the cast of Jersey Shore. The Situation, Pauly D, Snickers, J-Whoa, Sammi Sweet<3, Ronnie, Vinnie... and Ezzie!

Ezra looks 'right at home' because I think he is from the greater tri-State area. Even though he is 'Jewish', he can probably still vibe guido style. He was educated at a top tier American university, and is probably pretty good at 'learning about' and assimilating 2 different cultural vibes. If I were a betting man... I'd say that Ezra is about to 'make a splash' on Jersey Shore. Trust me. The guy can 'run mad game', end up in ur pants in 3 lines or less.

One day we'll look back to the days when Ezra was just an indie icon... Before he went mainstream and became a beloved Jersey Shore + Dancing with the Stars character.

From what I understand, the magazine industry is dying, and magazine covers mainly exist as a .jpg file for blogs to blog about but no1 buys magazines because they would rather read stuff 4 free on blogs. At this point, magazines sorta have to put bands and humans that appeal to tweens and mainstreamers on their cover so that they can sell copies. The popular New Jersey native Snooki is on the new cover of Rolling Stone, making it pretty obvious that the magazine industry is in trouble. Snooki is known for being a 'mini whore' who loves to make love to as many men as possible after getting as buzzed as possible. I don't know if she has anything innovative to say, or if there is some sort of 'real Snooki' that the journalist tried 2 uncover.

I sorta wonder if ppl are still 'into' Jersey Shore or if the meme of it has died. I guess ppl will always love Snooki because u sorta have to 'watch over her' like your mentally handicapped little sister, except she knows how 2 party and doesn't mind blowing dudes on the reg.

After the success of the hit television show 'Jersey Shore: The Story of Filthy Guidos Having Sex With One Another', MTV seems to have extended the Shore franchise, launching a new show called "HIPSTER SHORE." I am not sure if this is 'real' or if it is just some sort of 2k6 style hipster bashing video that is rebranded 2 have a modern appeal 4 lamestreamers 2 'laugh at hipsters'.

I can't even remember how many blog years ago Jersey Shore came out on MTV, but it was apparently a 'cultural phenomenon', making the cast some of the most important 21st century figures in the history of the 21st century. Never before have a cast of friends meant so much to the nation since the television show Friends. I guess all of these people were 'weirdo freaks' that Middle America could laugh at on a consistent basis, so now they get every1's attention. Seems like they are 'notorious' but maybe not marketable. Do u think it was a good idea for Baskin Robbins to choose Jersey Shore cast member DJ Pauly D as the face of their latest marketing campaign?

Not sure if DJ Pauly D was a good hire. I feel like 'The Situation' and 'Snooki' probably have the best brands, but maybe DJ Pauly D was cheaper than those two. Feels like a weird person to hire, especially so far removed from Jersey Shore buzz, but maybe he was a good value for their target market. Wonder if any1 from the show '16 and pregnant' could be the Baskin Robbins brand ambassador, since they probably 'crave' ice cream in their 16 year old bellies.

Is Baskin Robbins having trouble competing with the expanding frozen yogurt industry? Do they have to become one of those brands that is absurd / tries to be as unhealthy as possible to inspire fat people to stay with their brand? (kinda like Burger King)

Terry Richardson has been branded as an 'alt photographer' who was often associated with a 'gritty, raw' aesthetic.  I am not sure if he is 'alt.' Seems to have 'turned the mainstream corner' with Vice Magazine.  Most of the memes he produces have to do with mainstream stuff / ppl.  Seems good for his career to get 'jersey shore hits', and good for websites since he produced enough photos to generate a 'photo gallery.'

It seems like all of those bros are 'getting fat' now that they are famous + don't work out an more.  Worried that their muscle man boobs are turning into moobs of flab.

Jersey Shore was a popular 'Guido Show' on the MTV Television Network which built a solid fan base of 'people who couldn't believe this disgusting subculture existed.' After the show's success, the network and the stars of the show wanted to 'stay in the lime light', so they shipped the uninformed cast members to the Grammys to conduct interviews. In this web video, the popular character Snooki, who was known for being small, dumb, orange, and slutty, interviews the Grammy Winning mindie band Phoenix. The French bros are generally 'baffled' by this human Snooki, but probably just think she is 'another stupid American.'

Snooki asks the band 'What kind of music they play?' They tell her that they are a 'rock band', unwilling to go into the complexities of the evolving indie genre.

In this clip, you can watch as humans from two completely different cultures 'collide.'

Popular website/magazine The Village Voice had a blogger put the faces of indie celebs on 'guido' bodies, seeking meme approval from indie music fans and fans of 'Jersey Shore mania.' I am not sure if you can recognize the lead singer of Vampy Weeks in the preceding photographmeme.
