As most HRO readers have learned, this is the music/mp3 blog that is not interested in 'doing journalistic research', fact-finding, or making fair comparisons. Additionally, I am pretty into the audience perception of artists and music, as opposed to trying to formulate traditional music criticism on the historical relevancy of a Justice album, etc.
I know every one always wants new music, because 'that's the point of a music blog' apparently, but I want to make an effort to re-open conversations about bands after their initial BUZZ ends and the audience auto-approval mechanisms terminate. Isn't it weird how blogs can sometimes be more sustainable than startup bands, because it's just a process of blurbing about something once, then never mentioning them again?
So I'm trying to look for ways to write more about music that I enjoy beyond the usual "DL this HOT TRACK" blurb, and an excuse to re-blog about bands+songs that I [HIGHLY or MODERATELY REC]. Or maybe I'm just trying to bait more angry comments about misinformation.

So now that every one knows about GLASS CANDY and CHROMATICS, I guess we can finally tackle the question: WHICH 1 IS BETTER? WHO DO YALL LIKE MORE? WHICH 1 REPRESENTS U MORE?
Sure, you like both GlassCandy & Chromatics a lot, because you are an interesting person who reads music blogs and alternative magazines, but which one of these bands do you like more? It's an important question that you should spend some time debating.
Hey look, it's Johnny Jewel, the guy who produces both of these acts. He's a disco genius, right? When is that guy going to produce for Madonna?

Before you start to compare their tracks, you should confront the question of which female lead singer is the KUTEST?
The girl from CHROMATICS

or the girl from GLASS CANDY (Ida No)

Which one would you rather be in a long term relationship with? While I enjoy vulnerable, dark nights with Chromatics, sometimes I want the heavy, fun sounds of Glass Candy. I wonder which one represents the REAL 'me' the most... If I had to drop one of these bands off a cliff, I'm just not sure which one it would be.
This might be a personal question: Did you feel like you couldn't like Glass Candy as much when you found out they were going to be opening for Architecture in Helsinki? I mean, you know how those Arch in Helsinki fans can be...
When it comes to arpeggios, which we must use to evaluate the strength of every band, I'd say Glass Candy's "Etheric Device" is probably the best 'song based around a super intense arpeggio' in the past decade. However, the guitar arpeggio in the Chromatics' "I'm On Fire" is pretty refreshing after listening to too many electro-arpeggios.
WHICH 1 IS BETTER?
IF U HAD 2 SHOVE 1 OFF A CLIFF, WHICH 1 WOULD IT BE?
IF U HAD 2 DATE 1 FOR 4 YEARS OF YOUR LIFE, WHICH 1 WOULD IT BE, & WHY WOULD U BREAK UP?
