1) not every1 can make bangers
2) it's harder 2 partie than yall think
3) there's more 2 jousteice than just '2 frenchies in leather'
4) joustache [fingerbangs] more entry level alts than Daft Punk could even dream of.
5) Part of the banger nvr dies.

Did yall read the myspace bulletin that XavierDeJustice posted?

Hello,
We're currently working on the booklet for our next release,
A CROSS THE UNIVERSE (documentary + live) and would like it to be made only of images provided by fans (though if you hate justice but have good material it's OK).
Any fun (or dramatic) picture, image, or art related to justice ?
Please send them to justicematerial@edbangerrecords.com
Thank you,

So-Me, Gaspard & Xavier.

Red Jacket

Isn't it weird 2 see a member of Justice in a red jacket? I always enjoy blogging about when artists aren't in the 'uniform' that I visualize them in. I think they owe it to us to 'stay the same', which is why I hope that the guy in MGMT always wears tribal war paint and the girl in HeartsRevolution always has a painted-on eye mask.

I guess he's trying to look like Michael Jackson or something, since they are s000 0bsessed with P.Y.T.'s.

Hopefully they add the red leather jacket to their fashion line.

Also, what's up with Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers wearing a Justice shirt at a Los Angeles Lakers game?

Can we assume that Justice does heroin now? Can we assume that Justice supported Kobe Bryant after he raped that girl in Colorado?

Have U Seen that Justice Video with the Minorities Who Are Rlly Violent?

"Can u plz blg abt the new Justice video?" -HRO CMMNTRs when "S.T.R.E.S.S." was released via the Kanye West Blog (was that a metaphor about race and stuff?)

I learned what I am supposed to take away from this video at two blogs.

The Pedestrian.TV blog:

"…the video was meant to be unplayable on tv, like ’stress’ is unplayable on the radio. It was not meant as a commentary on society, nor was it our intention to shock people or promote racism or hatred. We consciously chose to release it on one site only. The unforeseen spread of the video has forced us to think about how hard it is to control where your art is going. “Stress” is meant to provoke discussion, like all contemporary cinema, art and literature."

The Butter Team wrote:

Videographer/new wave documentarian Romain Garvas and his Kourtrajmé crew are expanding our grasp of France's often overlooked socioeconomic struggles. A largely African artist collective bent on expressing the French minority experience via film, Kourtrajmé was a solid choice to raise pulses and questions with Justice's "Stress."

I guess I can respect that from an artistic/new media/'I pretend to appreciate French Films' point of view. I really want to know who is the REAL mastermind behind Justice's image and business decisions. Busy P? Gaspard or Xavier? Tommy Banghalter?

My thoughts on the video:
1. I like violence, but I think there could have been more overt sexual violence. When we are talking about troubled youth who are experiencing status frustration, I think some sort of rape/public group masturbation/experimentation with bisexuality/group violation of a young woman was VERY necessary in this video. It would be like making a movie about a school shooting called ELEPHANT, but not having the two school shooters jerk eachother off in the shower after admitting that they had never been with a girl right before they shoot up the school.
2. A little bit too French New Wavey for me... I would have liked to have seen a little bit more SoMe graphics needlessly flying around the video.
3. I wonder if Busy P wanted this video to inspire Bastille Day 2.0 in France. Sort of like how all of the racial tension in American manifested itself in the Los Angeles Riots (not the band, the actual riots). I guess we'll see if it happens!
4. I wonder what these 'little rascals' would have done if they had seen this little French man in the street:

5. I would have liked to have seen more crimes committed against: altbros, gheys, azns, gypsies, additional festivalBros, cool dads, dykes from the future, young children, it-girls, laptop DJs, DJs in masks, DJs in robot suits, and a few more that I can't think of.
6. The ending where the kidz attack the camera crew is a little bit dumb and has soo been done b4. I guess people who studied French New Wave don't take the time to study the way the SNL skit "The Joe Pesci Show" ends. Jim Bruer, playing Joe Pesci goes after the camera with a baseball bat.
7. The video kind of makes me wish France had some American police. I think our people really could have 'done the job right' and wiped these kids off the Earth. In America, we don't advocate things like glorifying violence just to 'make a point' in an artistic way. Most liberal minded Americans prefer their social commentary in the form of a documentary-directed-by-Michael-Moore.

Just because these kids' parents are poor doesn't mean these kids were doomed into a life of violence. NO MORE EXCUSES.

" 'Status frustration' is no excuse for ending up violent, poor, fat, diseased, disabled, or depressed. "
-America, 2008

I guess this video had the biggest impact on my gmail inbox. Here is an email that I received:

After watching Justice's new "Stress" music video that dropped today, I HAD to make one of the Cross Jackets.
I tried all the Peter Pan shadow methods, but I didn't have anything that would stick a picture of the cross on the back of my leather jacket.
In a situation like this, I turn to masking tape.
Here is the end result of a masked, off-centered Stress Jackeet (as the French would pronounce)
Can't wait to see how many girls turn me down upon seeing this!
If you use this picture I'd appreciate it if you used the alias "D-Town" instead of the name in my e-mail adress.
Thanks mang, love the site.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF D-TOWN'S HOME-MADE JUSTICE JACKET?

Overall, here's how the world feels about the "Stress" video:

****BONUS FUNNIE VID BY THE SAME DIRECTOR******
Apparently the director of the video made this other music video for DJ Mehdi. It's really good if you are into street racing and the golden era of glorifying Eurotrash in film.

Please let me know what other music videos I need to analyze since I have an Associate's Degree in Film Studies.
