Lo Fi Fnk are probably my fave lil Scandinavian men who make electro pop. I remember back when I first started listening to 'blog house' b4 I even knew what it was, LoFiFnk was there for me. Even though their music sounds simple, I am always pretty intrigued, and end up getting h00ked.
I am basically just intrigued by their personal brand.

Christopher Robin is from Australia. There's something about the song "Vision 2020" that reminds me of the vocal delivery of the Tough Alliance, with the song structure that would either strangely attract or repel you from a LoFiFnk song. I dig the sound.

Neon Coyote's remix of Clipse's "Mr. Me Too" offers the clubgoer a chance to dance to a glitchy, yet uplifting track. Pretty ideal for a blog house DJ set. (They are also PalmsOut certified.)

Neon Coyote's Mixtape "Cool Your Jets, Hold Your Horses" is also pretty solid the whole way through, as well. It's not a mixtape that tries to flaunt it's knowledge of obscure bands. Instead, it's a good mix of blogged-about hits. It's kind of like a DJ Never Forget type of mix.

The Tough Alliance is probably my favourite band of the moment. Just some great electronic pop out of Sweeden. It's like post-post-post Animal Collective, in a way. Is The Tough Alliance the next Animal Collective? Maybe.

I remember the first time I heard "For Kate I Wait", I played it over and over again. It really made me wait for Kate. I'm not an Ariel Pink historian, but from what I've gathered, he is some guy who has spent nearly half a decade recording some of the best lofi tapes in history.
In other recordings, he uses samples of his dad calling him worthless. He uses a 4Track, and gets some pretty INTERESTING RESULTS. Anyways, you might want to check out his albums if you like these songs. Start out with "Hanted Grafitti" and work your way into "Worn Copy."
