Was just goin on a jog through the park, then happened 2 stumble upon some celebration of Michael Jackson's life/birthday. It seems like even though Michael Jackson converted to a 'white person', the African American community still claim his as their own.

Feeling confused abt the racial legacy of Michael Jackson.

There were tons of 'MJ impersonators.' It seems hard to look like MJ at the time of his death, since he looked so scary. This bro seems like he has too many 'black features.'

Seemed like a lot of people were trying to 'exploit the MJ brand' to make a few dollars. From what I have read, this was the business plan of Michael Jackson's father.

Saw some 'artist' who decided to try to sell her MJ doodles.

Ran into my aunt. she was selling some of her 'jewelry line.'

My uncle brought a suitcase full of magazines 2 sell.

My other aunt was selling a bunch of burned CDs of MJ's greatest hits.

Today, I was watching the MJ funeral, and I noticed this bright face who I had never seen before, bc I think it was usually 'hidden by sillie masks.' It turns out that Michael Jackson has a daughter who is named "Paris Katherine Jackson." I think that she is young, but I think after this funeral, there will be a 'high demand' for her, particularly after her 'strong, vulnerable moment' where she spoke to the world.

Feel like I think she is a 'normal kid' now that she has just spoken out as 'a chill girl' who 'loves her daddy' (even though her biological source is 'unconfirmed').

I remember when JFK Jr went from 'a lil bro' who was 'saluting his assassinated dad'

to being 'The sexiest Bro Alive'

And Prince Wiliam/Prince Harry went from being 'mourning sons'

to being a 'hotter bachelor than Ashton Kutcher, before the internet existed and Demi Moore was officially a cougar'

I feel like 'big things' are in store for Paris Jackson. I hope she stays 'relatively normal' and 'deals with the spotlight' relatively well.

Maybe a 'more chill' version of Madonna's daughter

or possibly the personal brand of a 'young starlette who wants to attend an Ivy League school', like Natalie Portman, or the 'cute ass lil barely legal teen' from Harry Potters

In general, I am just excited for all of his kids, getting to experience life without 'masks'. Sorta like when ur parents get divorced, and u live with your more 'liberal, normal' parent, and the 'conservative domineering parent' no longer has control of ur life.

I think that the marketing team behind Animal Collective are 'pure geniuses.' Not only did they 'perfectly brand' MerriPostWeather Pavillions, and totally 'overhauled' the band's general brand--they also know how to 'inject the band into relevant discussions.' I think this was filmed 'before MJ died', but I feel like they somehow knew that 'MJ was going to die', and wanted to 'get as much buzz as possible.'

Sometimes it is important to 'jump on a megameme', such as the MJ death. If you are important/famous/relevant enough, people are 'interested in hearing what u have to say' about a newsworthy event. Feels like it is 'beneficial for content providers' for an 'alive famous person' to reflect upon a 'dead famous person.' U can then 'write a blog news story post' about it, and get 'mad hits.' I think it is important to seem 'sad' and 'appreciative' when some1 who was somewhat influential dies. Sometimes it also seems appropriate to be 'shocked.'

Not sure who is the 'kewlest' member of AnCo. Think that Panda 'seems chill.' Not sure if Avey is 'well-branded' in a Gilligan hat/bucket hat. I feel like Geologist's gimmick of 'wearing a headlamp' seems like a great one, but I think he needs to 'commit himself' to the gimmick 100%, and wear the headlamp during all hours of the day.

Feel like they have probably lost out on hundreds of thousands of dollars worth or 'merch revenue' by not selling a Geologist headband.

Feels like 'the whole mp3 blogosphere has been turned upside down' since MJ died. It's like every mp3 of music since MJ started making music was just trying to be 'as good as MJ', but now that he's dead, we can finally accept that 'no1 will ever be as good as MJ.'

Sorta just wish I could 'make some sort of tribute' to MJ that would 'get my blog more hits.' Think that the internet as a whole has 'benefited' from his death, since we all got 'more hits' and stuff like that. Wonder if he is 'really dead' or if this is some sort of 'gimmick' by Al Gore+John Twitter (founder of Twitter) to 'get more hits.' Think 'hits' are mad important [via ad revenue].

Feels weird that after u die, u go 2 #1 on hypemachine. [via hypemachine death theory] Guess mp3 bloggers finally just said 'all of the indie MP3s I post aren't as good as MJ, so I better honor him with my bloggyspot.'

Can't believe MJ went to #1 on iTunes. I think that means that the tween mainstream market 'didn't really listen 2 him b4 he died' and 'only knew him as some weirdo fuck'

Can't believe ppl spent money 2 buy his albums. Might just invest in some 'cassette tape to MP3' conversion technology

Feel like authentic fans might just 'own everything on tape' from now on.

Was listening to GorillaVsBear's 'summer mix' and thought all of this music might be what the post-MJ world is all about.

Think that this song by BEST COAST is possibly 'lofi.' Not sure if it is 'trying to be good.' I think it is just sort of chilling. Think that since most music was 'trying to be MJ' we will stop 'trying to be perfect pop' and just sort of 'chill.'

Wonder if WAVVES is the next MJ [via 'meltdown'/Xanax]. Wonder if 'electro' is all dead since every1 who 'makes electro' pretends to 'suck MJs peen' [via French electro artists].

I am a bro who is afraid of germs. Typically, germs are considered to be tiny organisms, or living things, that can cause disease. I am very afraid of dying, and usually wear swine flu masks in public, as well as gloves that protect my hands.

However, I am also afraid of nontraditional germs. I am afraid of germs that are 'poisonous ideas.' I am afraid of things like 'racism', 'bad fashion', and anything that might taint the purity of my authenticity. I must protect myself from germs. I am germabrobe.

I have created a personal brand/a sense of reality and most of the ideas/people/objects/oxygen that I will encounter today are direct threats 2 who I am as a person. My body is a temple. My mind is a temple. My soul is a temple. My personal brand is a temple. I must protect myself much like George W. Bush protected the United States against 'the brown people of the Eastern World." Much like terrorists don't 'get' our freedom, mainstreamers/general-bros do not 'get' me.

I think Michael Jackson might have been the original Germaphobe-for-the-sake-of-keeping-bad-ideas-away. Feel like he was just a chill lil guy who wanted to 'stay a child' and not be exposed to the terrors/downfalls of humanity. He needed to live in a reality where 'playing with urself & other fellow children' was 'okay'--in a world where 'age is just a number.'

Michael Jackson was protecting his version of reality. He is the greatest entertainer of all-time, therefore he does not need to breathe the same air that 'normal people' do. He can't afford to get ill from germs [via the commonman]. In order to be a relevant symbol/public figure, u must let the world know that u r above 'regular' public spaces, societal norms, governing laws, and basically just about everything.

Being a cultural germaphobe is more than just a personal branding decision. It is kinda like some sort of 'very passionate, no-bullshit ideology' 4 people who want to live 'a better life.'

I read on wikipedia that Michael Jackson was 'the coolest guy ever' before he turned into a plastic man/went krazie/loved kidz 2 much. From what I understand, every1 wanted 2 be him, and he started a lot of trends without even knowing it. He invented aesthetics that he didn't even know were so popular.

I've read in some pop culture gossip magazines that Kanye is trying 2 'be the Michael Jackson of this generation.' Not sure if he can do it, cuz things are s000 different now. There wasn't really any sort of intranet/internet for things to go viral on, and 'design' was so different back then. We all just had such different expectations of cutting edge culture, and we weren't as reflective. MJ was 'a genius' back then, but kinda wish he was in his prime now so that our 'society' could basically 'execute him' [via pressure that he couldn't handle/grasp/cope with].

I feel like inside of Kanye and MJ are people who are 'kinda the same' but there's probably 1 core difference that I'm trying 2 identify. Do yall know what it is?

Do yall think that if BLIPSTERDOM existed when MJ was an adolescent, he would have found a personal brand that would have prevented him from being a weirdo child preddy? Is Kanye West 'a ghey' or just 'too cultured' for other rappers to 'get'?

Lately, it's become pretty clear that Jimmy Kimmel is probably the late night show worth watching when you decide to watch a late night show once a month. They're the most willing to take chances on weird stuff. Even moreso than Conan in his early 2000s peak.

It's pretty interesting to think about 'indie' bands and these modern DJs performing on Late Night shows. I'm sure this is probably a new wave of 'creative performance models' that Animal Collective should have been able to use during "#1" on Conan. Acts or songs that aren't made to perform on stage of a late night show do need a little bit of flexibility. Even crazier than the typical Flaming Lips gimmicks.
