Robert Smith, better known to indie fans as 'Bob Smith', is best known as a member of the popular bleepbloop band Crystal Castles. He sang on the hit song "Not In Love."
However, many speculated that his addition to the band would lead to the downfall of the band. Both Ethan Kath and Alice Glass have strong personalities that can't be minimized. Alice has a way of working the stage and the crowd, while Ethan puts a spell on u. Was there ever really any room for Bob Smith 2 join the band and for it to go over well?
No.
Which is why Robert Smith has 'gone solo' and started some sort of sideproject called 'The Cure.' Who knows if The Cure will ever achieve the buzzworthy heights that Crystal Castles has reached. While it must have been a difficult decision for Bob Smith to make, sometimes pursuing your own artistic vision can be fulfilling despite the overwhelming success of his time in Crystal Castles.

Crystal Castles 'shocked the world' when they let former Cure frontman Robert Smith into the band in order to sing on the song "Not in Love." Every1 was really worried that he would steal stage time from Alice Glass, who is widely accepted as the keutest BB in indie rock. But now it looks like the situation resolved itself. No more Robert Smith. Instead they brought in a new team player who is ready to let Alice do her own thing and not hog the spotlight like Bobert Smith did.
I don't know what his name is, but he seems chill. If I had to guess, I'd say his name is "Leroy." He'll probably just jimmy jangle a tambourine or play a bleepy bloop machine.
Leroy is willing to stand in the shadows, similar to Ethan Kath. He puts on a hoodie and gets out of her way.
Not every1 can be the star of a buzzband. A buzzband is a team that requires individual sacrifice from every member of the band, dedicating themselves to a greater good.

The Cure is a popular band from the 80s that sang dark songs about relationships / not being good enough 4 any1, so every1 who was insecure + moderately alt in the 1980s vibed out hard to them. They also had some mainstream pop songs that every1 loved. Robert Smith is known as the 'mastermind' of The Cure.
Anyways, this is some new MP3 called "Not in Love" that was originally on Crystal Castles' second album, but now they went ahead and let Bob Smith sing over it. U gotta give them props for not thinking this was a corny idea, and just going ahead and letting Bob Smith churn out a new meme for them to cross over in2 new markets. Feel like this mp3 'crushes it', and might be a contender for 'MP3 of the year' from blogs all around the world.
However, I'm kinda worried. Do u think they are going to kick out Alice Glass/diminish her role within the band? Do u think Robert Smith will go on tour with Crystal Castles? Is Bobbie Smith trying to become a relevant buzzworthy indie celeb?
