Isn’t it weird how we r all kind of the same when we r born, but then a series of social interactions and contexts changes who we are inside? I live a humble alternative life, and sometimes it is hard for me to imagine some one having the mental fortitude to give up the small things in life, like sunlight or appreciating reality. Instead, they find a portal to an underworld, which they describe as a ‘more authentic Hot Topic.’

I could never make it in the underworld. I have no striped yeti boots. My hair does not grow out in belt buckles. I have no blue pigment in my body. There are no blue cheetahs that I can skin and make clothes out of. I live in a society where people do not walk on platforms to attract mates. I have no need for a utility belt.

I could never make it in the underworld. Does that make me a ‘less liberal/open-minded’ person?

Have you ever been to an underworld club where everyone is dressed like this, dancing to dark/new wave music, and it makes u feel like you are walking around in SECOND LIFE?
