Animal Collective is Geologist, Avey Tare, Deakin, and Panda Bear.
Not sure why they have such weirdo performing names.
No one knows why Deakin left the band but there are tons of theories.
All of the band members release 'their own shit' sometimes [via solo project], but it is never really as good as AnCo.
Some people say that Pitchfork.com is 'all over AnCo's nuts' but now that they gave Kanye West a 10.0, it seems like they are 'done with AnCo.'
