Caroline Polachek is the female vocalist & star of electro band Chairlift.
Caroline Polachek founded Chairlift with Aaron Pfenning but now he is apparently out of the band. Some people have reported this was the result of an internal power struggle. Maybe Aaron couldn't handle Caroline's microfame. Maybe they had a fight over how to spend their Apple commercial fee. Maybe the song "Bruises" was actually a cry for help via an abusive relationship between the two of them.
She was featured as the singer in a Washed Out song sponsored by Adult Swim.
